1 week .....

Wow what a week .... it has been so fun packed I have to keep pinching myself to be sure I am not dreaming.

The Proclaimers concert at the Castle was really good..... like a big party really.

A BBQ with the boys which was good fun, meeting Ange & Mary for dinner at the Spylaw Hotel, what a nice night that was. Mandy coming over for lunch on Friday was wonderful, I had forgotten how much fun she is and it was lovely to catch up. We will stay in touch now I hope.

Meeting May & Keith, Allan's Mum & Dad was another first and good fun. We took Solo over and he loved them to bits . We sang happy birthday to May and sat in their lovely garden enjoying the evening sunshine.

I took Solo over to play with Halley & Josh on Saturday while Allan played golf. Solo loved the garden and the fun running after Halley ....Josh just wanted to get at Solo but couldn't quite manage ....soon !
Last night we met up with Angie & Dave and enjoyed the decadence of an evening meal at Prestonfield House. Just lovely.
Today Allan has golf, a competition and I am planning on bathing Solo and getting some housework done ..... we will see hehe

Another weeks holiday to enjoy ..... wonderful

Summertime

Congratulations to Paul & Olay who are getting married in Russia at the end of July. I hope they will have a long & happy life together.

Not long now .... I collect my puppy on 20th July at 3pm! How cool will that be. Andy went with me to see them on Saturday, he is excited now.
I have had a brilliant weekend. Friday evening Allan & walked hand in hand along Portobello Beach, it was sunny, no wind and not too many people. It has been so long since I have been on Portobello beach. We talked and laughed as lovers do ...... then starving as we were, went for a yummy steak at 'The Sizzling Scott' in Hanover Street and enjoyed being with each other. Allan surprised me with a present, a heart stoppingly romantic gift.... to me, others may wonder about it....... a mincer! yep a mincer you see I need one to prepare food for my pup and don't have one ...... he thought about it organized it and now I do. Thanks. Saturday was Dr Who!
Sunday I Shiatsu'ed Allan ...... then there was the Tennis .... wow what a match .... Well done Nadal.
Mandy has gone on holiday to Norway for 10 days, I usually speak with her every day, I am already missing her banter. Monday was chaos at the Clinic rescheduling patients as June was unwell, it did however give me time to begin work on the accounts ...... less said the better ...me and numbers !!!
I am again in the battle for money with Mike & Pete ...... wish me luck.

2 birthdays, a BBQ, a course and a bug!

Well it's been all go...... June's birthday was celebrated with a BBQ and that was great fun. The day threatened rain but turned out sunshine all day, 'Sticky Willy' entertained with music and various wee ones played underfoot along with dogs..... just that pure chaos that makes for a nice time.

I spent Friday painting the Clinic, June was away for a long weekend and it seemed like an ideal time to just DO IT! I got most of it done, with the help of various unsuspecting clients lol.

Allan's birthday was celebrated with a lovely evening out at Sweet Melinda's restaurant, yummy fish and even yummier chocolates! It was a really nice night. Things are going in a nice direction for us.

I spent all weekend on a doula course. I admit I was not really looking forward to the experience, but in the end I throughly enjoyed the company and the content. I completed my written assignment yesterday, emailed it and now wait for certification of my doulahood!

that leaves the bug. Somehow somewhere in there I was infected with an achey, coughy, yukky, bug. I woke up on Monday with one eye swollen and feeling as though the Number 27 bus had just hit me!

I am feeling a little better now and thankfully the eye is better. I wonder about what TCM would have to say..... my vision of the future ????

Allan & I visited with the pups, they are developing wee personalities and are just lovely to watch.

Thursday night Andy attends his Formal Leaving Night from school, he has hired a kilt and seems excited. I am going to the 'champagne reception' at the school. I am so proud of him! I will post a photo soon.
