Congratulations

I had a lovely call from Moscow on Sunday, my good friend Paul and his wife are to be parents.

How cool is that.

Their baby is due in July and wish them all the happiness in the world

Springtime

March already! and the spring flowers are out, it feels great and the nights are getting longer ...6pm and still light :-)

Allan and I spent a busy gardening weekend, neither of us is able to move today! but the trees are pruned and ready for the shredder!

Solo has been swimming and rabbit chasing.

I am still waiting for a house deal and time moves on ......

Waitangi Day

Happy Waitangi Day !!!


After lots of snow, today is a glorious sunny day. It's also Friday so yipppeeee another weekend.

Seems just a blink and it's February already, time, although supposedly a constant, is moving faster than it used to! Or maybe it is just me aging ... hmmmm

Mike's wee bird Connor, died on Tuesday night. It was unexpected and he seems to have passed away in his sleep. Mike and Naz buried him in the garden. The house is so quiet without his singing.

A year on the move again

Hurray !!!! I am feeling well again!

Another house valuation tomorrow .... maybe this time ...... I am trying not to count those chickens ,but hopefully they are nearly hatched so to speak.

Things are good for me just now, Solo brilliant company and a great friend. He has another show this weekend.

Allan & I are enjoying a nice time together and growing closer all the time.

Work is busy and I spent last Saturday on a workshop for Stroppy Women! as if I needed to be more stroppy lol.

Loved the snow yesterday, shame it didn't stay for long.

A New Year .......

I have had a bug for what seems like forever, now I am on the second lot of antibiotics and hopefully the mend. The festive season has been a bit of an unhealthy blur, but 2009 holds great promise of good new ground for me.

Solo got a 2nd at his show .... robbed of course ! He was great, so calm and he'll always be my 1st!

Today I'm putting up the tree, so the warm fuzzy feelings will start. I have finished my shopping .... well almost. I finish work on 23rd and have 2 weeks of indulgence ..... yippee! Have a good one ! cheers !

2 weeks til Xmas

It's been all go ...... I was struck down with a horrid chesty bug, that took a week in bed to shift. Andy's 18th was great although by then I had infected poor Mike so he didn't make the night out. Allan, myself, Tom, Pete and Andy celebrated at the Hawk and Hunter, a brilliant night.

Now I am Xmas shopping and counting down til yule time.

Solo has his first Show on 27th December in the Puppy Class. Will be exciting, it's in Bathgate and there is a huge fan club all going along to offer support. Uncle Eddie is also in the Show ..... Crufts here we come!

Before that, is the puppy school Xmas party next week .... fancy dress for Solo hehe
A Xmas night out for the owners too ..... that will be fun!

No sign of house selling so I am still in limbo .....
