summer heat

Ahhh the heat, how wonderful it is, Solo is not so happy, being unable to take the fur coat off!
We have spent lots of time in the river cooling off.

Allan's birthday went well and we enjoyed a nice BBQ
We did not however, get to do our sphering .... it poured with rain in Perthshire and so our event has been moved to 30th July.
That screaming sound will be me!

I'm planning a break and looking forward to 2 weeks with Solo.

House sale moving thru the courts slowly and costly.......

Mike had a week in France at Hellfest and seems to have enjoyed it.
Pete is having a great time in London.
Andy working two jobs and saving ....not long now til uni
Tom was at the clinic with a damaged ligament so he is not able to run or squat .... oh poor him!

Allan and I had a BBQ at the weekend to celebrate his birthday, it was a nice night and for me a chance to meet his friends.

Solo has qualified for Crufts!

He returned from his show having got a third at champion level ..... wow!
We immediately went off on a long walk along the river, Solo getting as muddy as possible, chasing ducks and sticks and being a dog!!!

Allan, Solo & I had a great week in Perthshire, walking up hills and down dales!

It was a lovely break, back to work now until 17th June when Allan & I go sphering downhill......hmmmmm and Solo goes off with Kay to a big show .......

How time passes..... May already. Another of my boys passes the 21st birthday milestone!
Yes Pete is 21. He celebrated with his pals on a boat trip, looked like fun.

I am keeping busy, work is good. A couple of weekends ago, I attended a great workshop by Meg Webster from Orkney, her Shiatsu is so gentle an I related well to her style. Allan & I are planning a holiday to see her over the summer.

The house remains unsettled and next step the courts .....

Allan, Solo & I are off to Perthshire for a few days next week, I am sooooo looking forward to it.

Mike's playing a lot of gigs just now and seems to be enjoying himself.
Andy is looking forward to starting uni, not long to go now.
Tom working hard and playing hard.

I had a lovely call from Moscow on Sunday, my good friend Paul and his wife are to be parents.

How cool is that.

Their baby is due in July and wish them all the happiness in the world

Springtime

March already! and the spring flowers are out, it feels great and the nights are getting longer ...6pm and still light :-)

Allan and I spent a busy gardening weekend, neither of us is able to move today! but the trees are pruned and ready for the shredder!

Solo has been swimming and rabbit chasing.

I am still waiting for a house deal and time moves on ......

Waitangi Day

After lots of snow, today is a glorious sunny day. It's also Friday so yipppeeee another weekend.

Seems just a blink and it's February already, time, although supposedly a constant, is moving faster than it used to! Or maybe it is just me aging ... hmmmm

Mike's wee bird Connor, died on Tuesday night. It was unexpected and he seems to have passed away in his sleep. Mike and Naz buried him in the garden. The house is so quiet without his singing.
