Why is nothing in life simple ?

WOW last night's gig at ABC was fabby.
I recommend everyone checkout Mr Hudson. Beforehand Andrew treated me to a lovely meal at Wagamuma

When I was leaving Edinburgh, as I took my seat on the train across to Glasgow I was struck with the realisation (caused by the presence of a number of young men in scarves) that Rangers were playing a Championships League match at Ibrox vs Barcelona....... that meant the train home was going to be mobbed!!

......and ho hum it was. Andrew, now choked with my bugs ... I share everything with him, was happy to agree to us leaving the gig early so I could be on 10:30 train rather than the later one.

So I was tucked up in my bed by midnight. I did enjoy being out on a Tuesday night after 9pm maybe I am not too old afterall.

Phew!

...... OK, June and Mark have a beautiful baby boy, Josh. all is well in their world and I wish them all the love in the world. As things went, as Josh arrived in this world I was hit by a bug which floored me .... high fever, aches, cough, you know the sort of thing.

After a week of illness, in which time my boys and Andrew did their part nursing me back to health, I managed to get myself thru to Glasgow to go to the RWC final with Andrew. It was a fun night and although I was Tee Total due to antibiotics it was well worth the stuggle. The result was great SA did well and hey as a self adopted Scot anyone was better winning than England! As for Andrew an adopted SA he enjoyed the win for less cynical reasons!

Now I am back at work and heading off to a concert tonight at the ABC in Glasgow Mr Hudson & The Library a band I heard reviewed on Radio1 earlier this year.

Life without a washing machine .... unthinkable!

Wow how exciting is my life?
This week I paid a gym membership which i can not use ( part of that ongoing saga of Virgin Active DON'T JOIN THEIR GYM! ) ... spent hours at work doing very little but answering phones.... joined Facebook (actually that part was quite fun :-) ) ..... watched Murphy's Law .... and now the washing machine has packed in ... or to quote Andy " one of the green sticky out bits on the revolving thing is half detached..." But fear not I know a man!
Davey, my long term washing machine repair man ..... alas his number is no longer recognised.
Undetered I track him down and bless him he'll come see it tomorrow. 3 large smelly men living in my house and no washing machine .... no way!

June has still not had her baby ..... life is very tense.
