Autumn daze

I have been having so much fun, wonderful walks in the countryside, teaching Solo to swim, warm cuddles in bed, sunshine and storms.

Everything seems somehow new and quite amazing ......

I am putting this all down to Allan, he has changed my way of looking at things. It's nice and it's calm, and it's full of laughter.

Mike's birthday tea tonight, an Indian feast I think.

No sight, no sense,
No perception of strength.

Fear…
The silent dark entangles the mind,
The cold claws the skin,
Breath chilled from within,
Releasing the horrors from inside.

Extinguished hope:
Do I not deserve the warmth, the light?
The darkness closes on your will to ignite.
How can any cope?

Alone…
A single spark determined,
Yet desperate and solitary.
We seek for reciprocity,
But the hope we had, has weakened.

The room so desolate,
But the gleam from the shutter,
Offers light to reveal the clutter,
And we decide to recommit.

Life…
The challenge of rejection,
Which can ultimately destroy.
The challenge to understand,
To live life is to enjoy.

To take the unfathomable leap,
Towards friendship, love, unknown.
To push through the desolation deep,
We find: We are never alone.
